From 1 to 15 August 2013 the border guards of the FSS Border Control Agency of Russia in South Ossetia detained three violators of the state border and four violators of the border regime. AS IA "Res" was informed at the press service of the FSS Border Control Agency of Russia in South Ossetia, the offenders were handed over to the Border Service of the KGB of South Ossetia for further proceedings.

They added that during this period had been discovered three caches of weapons and munitions.
"August 7 in the vicinity of Tskhinval was discovered a cache of munitions, from which the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic removed about three hundred cartridges and a hand grenade F-1. According to the experts of the ministry, the age of the cache is about five years. "
Another cache of weapons, including a grenade launcher RPG-7s was discovered as a result of the joint actions of the Russian border guards with the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic on August 12 near the town of Kvaisa (Dzau district).
On the same day, near the village of Mugut in Znaur district of South Ossetia was also discovered a cache of munitions, including more than eight hundred cartridges of various caliber, three hand grenades and a home-made explosive device.
