August 22, South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov, who is on a working visit to the Russian Federation, met with the head of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergei Ivanov.
As reported to IA "Res" by the press secretary of the President Ghana Yanovskaya, at the meeting were discussed the issues of relations between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation, including Russia's assistance in post-war reconstruction of South Ossetia, the improvement of cooperation within the framework of the Investment program to promote socio-economic development of the Republic, gasification of the districts of the Republic, the development of the banking sector, improvement of the regulatory framework.

"Following the meeting have been identified specific measures to implement the agreements," - said Yanovskaya.
The meeting was attended by the head of the Presidential Administration of South Ossetia Boris Chochiev and Deputy Prime Minister Domenty Kulumbegov. For the Russian part, the meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the North Caucasian District Alexander Khloponin, Presidential Aide for socio-economic issues and cooperation with Abkhazia and South Ossetia Tatyana Golikova, Head of the Presidential Administration for Interregional and Cultural Relations with foreign countries Vladimir Chernov.
