Khloponin: Implementation of the Investment Program for 2012-2013 is almost completed

In Tskhinval has been completed the ninth session of the Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) on socio-economic cooperation between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation. As noted at the beginning of the meeting President of the RSO Leonid Tibilov now it`s time to sum up the results of 2013 and outline a number of areas that need to be implemented in 2014.
"I think that in 2014 we can say with confidence that we did more than in the previous two years. This year we also were not sitting by idly, having achieved certain results, "- said the head of state.

According to him, on what is done directly in the capital of South Ossetia, where live the majority of the population, depends largely the impression of the Republic as a whole.
"We will continue to work to improve the life of our citizens and to create new jobs. In this regard, I would like to thank the Russian businessman Mr. Bolloev, who helped in the restoration of the garment factory in Tskhinval, which currently employs more than one hundred people. It is still the only example, but I hope it will be followed by others," - said the president.
He has also said that in 2014 in the Republic is planned to hold an economic forum with the participation of entrepreneurs – natives of South Ossetia.
"We try to create favorable conditions for investors, working to improve the legislation in this area ", - said Tibilov.
In turn, the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District, a Chairman of the Russian part of the IGC Alexander Khloponin has noted that the Investment Program to promote socio- economic development of South Ossetia in 2012-2013 is being successfully implemented.
"The implementation of the current Investment Program is almost completed and fully funded. Today we have also agreed the program for the next year. In 2014 Russia plans to increase financial aid to South Ossetia to 2.8 billion rubles. These funds will be mainly used to complete the unfinished facilities and putting them into operation. In subsequent years, the Republic should move to implement economic development programs, "- said Khloponin.
According to the Russian official, during today's meeting with the leadership of South Ossetia, the sides managed to alleviate all the pressing issues, discuss the wide range of problems, covered in the final report of the meeting.
Khloponin has also noted the qualitative work of the South Ossetian and Russian specialists who helped at short notice to solve all issues.
