The Trade Agreement, signed with Russia, opens wide possibilities to revive the economy of South Ossetia, said at a press conference in Tskhinval Deputy Prime Minister of South Ossetia Domenty Kulumbegov.

According to him, the agreement will also facilitate the activities of the South Ossetian entrepreneurs
"One of the most important parts of the agreement relates to the removal of customs duties on fuel, that will bring the price for fuel in the Republic to Russian prices, - said Kulumbegov.
He has noted that the leadership of the Ministry of Economy and the State Unitary Enterprise
"Yugosetnefteprodukt" have been instructed to hold consultations and as soon as possible to start implementing the agreement.
He has added that this agreement will not allow transporting everything.
"Entrepreneurs also need to carefully examine its rules and benefits and work in accordance with them. There are certain restrictions on the import and the export, and all goods must have relevant documents," - stressed Kulumbegov.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the question of energy tariffs was also discussed with Russian colleagues.
"Consultations were held with Russian Gazprom and INTER RAO EU, which supply energy. The work in this direction is conducted the prices for electricity and gas in the Republic not to exceed the Russian ones. We have been promised that soon the decision on this issue will be taken,"- said Kulumbegov.
According to him, people should understand that it is "not a humanitarian gift and free delivery, but the product for which you have to pay."
"We will do everything for the energy prices not to rise uncontrolledly, but people should feel responsible and timely pay taxes," – said Kulumbegov.
