Prosecutor General 's Offices of South Ossetia and Russia have started implementing a plan of cooperation

As part of the joint program of activities for 2013-2014 signed between Prosecutor General`s Offices of South Ossetia and Russia, representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office of the RSO embarked for Moscow on the first working visit.

As the news agency "Res" has been reported by Prosecutor General of the RSO Merab Chigoev, the staff members of the agency will hold October 19 a meeting in Moscow with Russian colleagues, during which it is planned to discuss issues of mutual interest.
"In turn, at the end of December in South Ossetia will arrive the employees of the Prosecutor General`s Office of Russia. During two days in Tskhinval will be held trainings and other activities on supervision and combat of terrorism and extremism,"- said Chigoev.
He has expressed confidence that this work will be useful both for the employees of the Prosecutor General`s Office of South Ossetia, as well as for their Russian colleagues.
The Prosecutor General has added that such joint events will take place during the 2014.
It should be noted that November 12 in Moscow was signed a Program of Cooperation between the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation and the Prosecutor General of the Republic of South Ossetia for 2013 - 2014. The document is aimed at strengthening and improving interagency cooperation in combating transnational crime.
