Resignation of the government, the legislative gap in the Constitution of South Ossetia on the lack of specific terms of the government formation and the new candidates for the post of Prime Minister of the Republic was discussed at a briefing of journalists with the Chairman of the State Committee of Information and Press of South Ossetia Vyacheslav Gobozov.

"The resignation of the government of the Republic of South Ossetia is an expected and logical step. In the spring of 2013 in his Message to the Parliament and the people of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov made a number of criticisms of the government. Most of these criticisms, in my opinion, are relevant today. At the meeting of the President with the public and media Leonid Tibilov made clear his dissatisfaction with certain aspects of the work of the government, so I think it was quite an expected and logical step,"- said Gobozov. According to Gobozov, the coalition government formed in a complex socio-political situation carried out a number of major tasks.
"The activities of this government can be viewed from different angles. I think that the mechanism of formation of the government was unique, which included representatives from all the most important political forces. The President gave an opportunity for all these forces to demonstrate and implement those aims contained in the party programs. This government has played certain positive role. Were developed projects for the restoration and much more. We remember well, in what a complex political situation this government was formed. I would not say that the current government has conducted a lot of work. On the other hand, the situation has changed, and the president found it necessary to form a new government that will be capable of more drastic measures, "- said Gobozov.
