February 5 has been held a meeting of the Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy of South Ossetia on post-conflict settlement Khokh Gagloyty and Commissioner for Human Rights Inal Tasoev with representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Elena Milosevic ( Regional Coordinator for missing persons) and Chingiz Rayimbekov ( head of the Department of Defense), As IA «RES» has been informed at the press service of the President and the Government of the RSO, at the meeting "were discussed the issues to clarify the fate of the missing persons."

"Also have been raised questions regarding the preparations for a regular meeting in the framework of the coordination mechanism for search for the missing. Participants expressed readiness for further coordinated actions and cooperation", - said the press –service official.
"The issue to clarify the fate of the missing persons is very relevant for us. We make every effort and raise the issue of the missing at all international fora, including in the framework of the Tripartite Coordination Mechanism," - the press service quoted the Commissioner for Human Rights Inal Tasoev.
According to him, during the Georgian aggression in 1989-1992 disappeared more than 130 citizens of South Ossetia and during the 2008 war - 8 civilians.
