President of the Republic of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov and Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Vladislav Surkov met with the heads of contractors involved in the construction in the framework of the Investment Program to promote socio- economic development of South Ossetia in 2014.
As IA "Res" has been informed in the press service of the President and the Government of South Ossetia, the meeting was also attended by Acting Prime Minister Domenty Kulumbegov, representatives of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and the Ministry of Finance.
The President has noted that the implementation of the Investment Program has already started and should fast-paced.
"We are not accustomed to working on weekends and holidays, but we need to work that way to complete all points of the Investment Program. Such approach to the issue will ensure success, and that is my primary task, "- emphasized Leonid Tibilov.
Vladislav Surkov, for his part, has noted the good level of cooperation with South Ossetian colleagues.
" I am pleased to note that we have good relationship with South Ossetian counterparts in the joint working group. This work will yield results, "- said the president's aide.
Addressing the representatives of contractors, Vladislav Surkov has reminded that the 2014 Investment Program has included only those facilities that must be completed in the current year.
"There is an advantage here: the object is completed or not. It is easy to check out, so at the end of the year, we will see how you have coped with the task. There will be no any compromise,"- he said.
Vladislav Surkov cited the example of construction of the Olympic facilities in Sochi: "When the time is fixed, eventually the construction of all objects will be completed in time. The Republic is in a difficult situation, and we must also treat the situation, applying Olympic methods."
"We all got down to business, promised Russia's President and the President of South Ossetia to achieve results. We will require the same from you, because the welfare of the people will depend on the results of our work, "- said the Presidential Aide.
He has also stressed that he himself is responsible for the implementation of development plans.
"We do not separate ourselves from you. And if there is a failure, it will also be my failure, this is my approach to this issue", - concluded Vladislav Surkov.
Participants of the meeting were briefed by the Acting Minister of Finance Aza Khabalova on financing in the framework of the Investment Program.
"At the beginning of the year there was a balance of unused funds in the amount of 860 million rubles. In addition, at the end of January 2014, under the Investment Program were received 300 million rubles. And we are ready to finance those facilities that have a full package of documents, that gives us the ground for funding," - she said.
The meeting discussed all the objects included in the Investment Program 2014. President of South Ossetia and Presidential Aide of the Russian Federation were reported on the state of each facility, the problems and the scheduled date of completion.
The working visit of Vladislav Surkov to South Ossetia will last for two days. He intends to inspect a number of facilities under construction in the center of Tskhinval and discuss the general plan of the town development with the Government, the Ministry of Construction and the Town Hall
