At the state border of South Ossetia near the Georgian village of Atotsi took place a rally against the engineering construction on the frontier. About five hundred radical young people with national flags of Georgia and Ukraine came up to the border area, chanting: "Russia is invader ", "Russians are fascists," etc.

Unfurling a large banner saying "Go home!", the protesters were using the refined foul language against Russian and South Ossetian border guards and journalists , and then sang the national anthem.
The South Ossetian side has regarded this action as another provocation carried out by the Georgian side, aimed at destabilizing the situation on the frontier.
" Today's meeting is another provocation by Georgia against South Ossetia, and such actions do not contribute to normalization of relations and the situation on the border of South Ossetia with Georgia. The action with participation of about 500 people, was organized by representatives of Tbilisi, and was held near the village of Balta in Znaur district. They are basically radical young people, chanting various slogans, using foul language, and behaving provocatively. They have both Georgian and Ukrainian flags, "- said in an interview with journalists a representative of the KGB of South Ossetia Alexander Smirnov.
He has noted that the Georgian side still did not intend to discuss with the authorities of South Ossetia the delimitation issue.
"Unfortunately, the Georgian side cannot hear us. We have repeatedly called on the Georgian side to enter into negotiations to discuss the border line, as well as the points of contention, but we only hear political slogans and similar actions," - added Smirnov.
Georgian police was maintaining order during the rally.
This is not the first action organized by representatives of the Georgian side against the engineering construction on the state border between South Ossetia and Georgia. Earlier, similar events were held in the area of border settlements Mugut and Ditzi.
