The legal framework between South Ossetia and Russia should be expanded and filled with new content. The new agreement on alliance and integration, which is being developed by Russian and South Ossetian professionals, is intended to legalize the integration processes between the two countries, expressed his opinion Presidential Envoy of the Republic for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev.

He has noted that the Agreement on cooperation and integration is to continue the work carried out over a number of years between South Ossetia and Russia to expand and strengthen the legal framework between the countries.
"In 2008, Russia helped the people of South Ossetia to repel the aggression of Georgia. After that, Russia recognized the independence of the Republic, and September, 17, 2008 between the two countries was signed the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation, which has became the base for the further legal work between our states. During the six years between our countries were concluded more than 70 interstate, intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements and protocols that are implemented in full. However, as time goes on, life suggests that the legal framework should be expanded, deepened and filled with new content, "- said the envoy.
He has stressed that South Ossetia was initially aimed at Russia, and in the new treaty will be stipulated "the positions that are becoming more open and more useful for further development of our relations."
"That is, the new contract is part of the vast legal framework that exists between our two countries", - concluded Dzhioev.
