"Our peoples have historically been able to protect and preserve their land. Today we live in a recognized and independent state, building relationship with the Russian Federation and other friendly nations. We have recognized the Donetsk People's Republic ", - said the head of state.
Leonid Tibiov has emphasized that the signed decree on the recognition of the Donetsk People's Republic expressed the will of the people of South Ossetia.
"Your visit to South Ossetia is another step towards the implementation of the decree signed by me. Materials for the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries are under development. We intend to build joint plans to further strengthening cooperation in all areas, "- said the head of state.
Leonid Tibilov addressed the warmest wishes of peace and well to the leadership and the people of the of the Donetsk People's Republic.
In turn, Alexander Kofman has also wished prosperity to the Republic of South Ossetia.
"We are immensely grateful for the recognition of our republic. People of South Ossetia know very well the trials our country has gone through. Today, we are ready for cooperation and development of bilateral relations between our friendly republics, "- he stressed.
