«Freedom house» during the preparation of their reports are based on subjective measures that distort the real situation in different countries, told the news agency "Res" Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia David Sanakoev.

"To make any conclusions on human rights, as well as on the democracy in the Republic of South Ossetia, which representatives of this organization even have not visited, is absurd," - said Sanakoev.
He has stressed that the «Freedom house» reports « are biased and do not reflect the real situation of human rights in individual countries as well as in the world."
"Freedom house "provides estimates of the countries in the interests of the US State Department, which funds its activities. It's like a political order, "- concluded the Foreign Minister of South Ossetia.
It should be noted, according to the research methodology, each country is scored on a scale from one to seven points, where one means the most freedom rights, seven is the lowest. . Freedom index of South Ossetia is 6.5, including political freedoms - 7 and civil liberties - 6.
The report estimated 195 countries, of which 89 are called free, 55 partly free and 51 – not free.
