South Ossetian President has called for increased efforts to clarify the fate of the missing persons and the release of the citizens of South Ossetia illegally convicted in Georgia

South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov has received the Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy of the RSO for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev.
According to the press Secretary of the head of state Ghana Yanovskaya, during the meeting have been discussed the preparations for the forthcoming round of the Geneva discussions on security in Transcaucasia.

The President has noted the importance of the Geneva discussions and requested the South Ossetian delegation to work on the activation of a legally binding document on the non-use of force.

Leonid Tibilov has stressed the importance of addressing the search for the missing persons and the release of the citizens of South Ossetia, illegally sentenced in Georgia to life imprisonment on trumped-up charges.

President has given Murat Dzhioev a letter to the co-chairs of the Geneva talks, which calls for intensified efforts by the international community to clarify the fate of the missing persons and matters of mutual release of the citizens of South Ossetia, imprisoned in Georgia on trumped up charges.
