Freestyle wrestler, Olympic champion in Rio Soslan Ramonov (65 kg), won his third victory in the club championship league of India. This is reported on the official page of the Pro Wrestling League on Facebook.
Today, within the framework of the tournament, wrestlers from the Ramonov team "Mumbai Maharathi" and the team "Haryana Hammers" came out on the carpet. In total, six club teams participate in the league. The result of a match between Ramonov and Indian athlete Harphool was the victory of our compatriot by a score 15:01.
Unfortunately, Ramonov's success did not help his team to win. As a result of performances of all athletes of the two clubs, "Haryana Hammers" defeated Mumbai Maharathi by a score 04:03.
In the standings, "Mumbai Maharathi" remains in fourth place. The next match as part of his team Ramonov is waiting for January 22.
A few days ago Soslan Ramonov won another brilliant victory. He won a duel with Indian wrestler Amit Dhankar - ahead of schedule, in less than three minutes, scored 16 points.
The championship, which involves several Russian wrestlers, is taking place in New Delhi since the ninth of January. The tournament involves six clubs, each of which has previously concluded contracts with nine athletes from different countries.
The club championship of the wrestling league of India will end on January 26 with the final fights.
