President Anatoly Bibilov has received State Duma deputy Arthur Taymazov and, a member of the parliament of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Alan Khugaev.
According to the press service of the President and the government of the Republic, the head of state greeted the guests, noting that every visit to South Ossetia creates a positive stir among the population of the republic, especially among young people, who are proud of the sporting achievements of the eminent compatriots and are trying to emulate them.
"Wherever we are: on the grounds of the State Duma in Moscow or on the Olympic pedestal, we are one people. I want to thank the head of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Vyacheslav Zelimkhanovich Bitarov, for working together to create the Commission for the Development of the Ossetian Language. Until now, these commissions worked in parallel, which, in our common opinion, is unacceptable. The Ossetian language is one; therefore the commission should be one. The development of the Ossetian language should take place in a single direction, and not separately ", - said the President.
The President has stressed that the establishment of interrelations between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania in various spheres of life is long overdue and that the leadership of both republics will work actively to establish close and inextricable contacts.
He has noted that it is planned to hold a meeting with students of the South Ossetian State University, who recently moved to a new building, rebuilt at the expense of financial resources allocated by the Russian Federation.
"Mr. Taymazov, you as a State Duma deputy voted for the budget, where an article was written to help the Republic of South Ossetia. Thank you very much. I want to thank all the deputies of the State Duma, as well as the leadership of the Russian Federation," - the president said.
The head of state also invited Arthur Taymazov and Alan Khugaev to attend a concert to support of presidential candidate Vladimir Putin, organized by South Ossetian youth, to be held tonight in Tskhinval.
"I think that you will attend the concert. For our youth, this will be an incentive for active manifestation of civic position when it comes to presidential elections in the Russian Federation, which are very important for us. The fate of the Republic of South Ossetia directly depends on the fate of the Russian Federation. As a president and a citizen, I believe that South Ossetia should be part of Russia, that Ossetia must be united. In the Russian Federation there should be a strong leader, " - he said.
Anatoly Bibilov has stressed that the people of South Ossetia will never forget the help and support of the top leadership of the Russian Federation, provided throughout the South Ossetian people's struggle for freedom and independence.
"Thanks to the Russian Federation, tripartite peacekeeping forces were introduced to South Ossetia, which stopped the carnage. In 2008, thanks to Russia, Georgia was forced to stop the war; the aggressor was forced to peace. And from 2008 to the present day Russia is assisting in the development of the Republic. The people of South Ossetia remember this, and I am sure that no any person, being a citizen of the Russian Federation, will remain indifferent to the presidential elections in Russia", - concluded the President of South Ossetia.
Arthur Taymazov, for his part, has expressed his gratitude to Anatoly Bibilov for the reception, noting that, as a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, he also defends the interests of South Ossetia and its people.
"Today I came to South Ossetia with great pleasure. I also believe that the people of Ossetia are one people. We have opened a resource center for volunteer support, and I want the guys from South Ossetia to come to us, communicate, share experiences, prepare programs for receiving grants. I am happy to talk with young people, with students today," - Taymazov said.
