The most anticipated fight of the international boxing evening in South Ossetia was between an undefeated lightweight boxer, Uzbek champion Ulugbek Holov and IBF World Youth Champion Soslan Tedeev.
The first round went smoothly. Boxers exchanged short blows to the body.
In the second round, the blows between the opponents became more frequent, the round ended with the strongest blow of the Ossetian boxer to the head of his opponent.
The third round was decisive. By a powerful blow to the liver of Ulugbek Kholov Soslan Tedeev ended the fight with technical knockout.
It should be noted that before the tournament in Tskhinval Kholov had 6 fights and won the same number of victories.
Tedeev in turn held 18 fights, of which only one was defeated.
As has noted the coach of the Ossetian boxer Vitaly Slanov on the eve of the tournament at the press conference in Tskhinval, defeating Uzbek champion Ulugbek Holov, Soslan Tedeev will be able to take part in the second season of the World Boxing Super Series, which will begin after the fight between Murat Gassiev and Alexander Usik.
"If Soslan's fight with the champion of Uzbekistan ends with his victory, then the next duel he will hold already in the second season of the boxing super series, which will be held in Asia, Macao or Hong Kong. The organizers will conduct the same super series in which Murat is now boxing and, as far as I know, only two Russian boxers - Soslan Tedeev and an athlete from Yekaterinburg will be able to fight there," Slanov said.
He has stressed that the winner of the second season of the World Super Series, in turn, will automatically enter the top ten of the strongest boxers.
Soslan Tedeev represents the promoter organization "Ural boxing promotion" and the boxing club "Ariana".
