Eric Pukhaev discussed social issues with Maxim Topilin

Within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum-2019, the Prime Minister discussed with the head of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Topilin the issues of social development of South Ossetia, including wage increases, the press service reports.

“During the meeting we discussed issues of co-financing at the expense of the Russian Federation of raising wages of employees of state and municipal institutions of South Ossetia to a level comparable to the level of wages of relevant workers in the North Caucasus Federal District. It was also about raising the salaries of civil servants,” said Eric Pukhaev, commenting on the topic of the meeting.

On the first day of SPIEF - 2019, a delegation from South Ossetia, which also includes Deputy Prime Minister - Economic Development Minister Gennady Bekoev and Finance Minister Aza Khabalova, took part in the plenary session, and also held a number of meetings with representatives of friendly and business community.

St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2019 is taking place on June 6-8. The Forum is held since 1997, and since 2006 it has been held under the patronage and with the participation of the President of the Russian Federation. The Forum is a platform for communication between business representatives and discussion of key economic issues facing Russia, developing markets and the world as a whole.
