Days of Ossetian culture in Europe will end with an international festival of culture in Luxembourg

An exhibition of Ossetian artists has opened in Luxembourg, which will last until June 30, the press service of the Republic’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports. The exhibition presents the works by Ossetian masters Nina and Sergey Savlayev, Karina Kachmazova, Magrez Kelekhsaev, Alan Kasoyev, Lyudmila Baitsaeva, Yuri Abisalov, Viktor Tsallagov and Vadim Pukhaev.

At a meeting of the organizers of the Days of Ossetian Culture in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, an agreement was reached on further cooperation.

In addition, as part of the events, there was an open-air and cultural program in the picturesque town of Chiny, at the junction of Belgium, France and Luxembourg. The participants visited the medieval castle Buyen.

Days of Ossetian culture in Europe will end on June 29 with the international festival of culture in the ancient castle of Beaufort in Luxembourg. Within the framework of the festival, it is planned to design Ossetian stand-tent with souvenirs, booklets and books about modern Ossetia, demonstration of national cuisine and a master class on cooking Ossetian pies.

Also in one of the pavilions of the castle will be an exhibition of Ossetian artists. More than 5,000 guests are expected at the festival, including Ossetians from a number of European countries who will come specifically to support the Ossetian artists.

The organizers of the Days of Ossetian Culture in Europe are grateful to the President of South Ossetia, Anatoly Bibilov, for all possible assistance, as well as to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia, Dmitry Medoev, for his participation in the events.
