On Tuesday, at 18.00, Arsamag Zasseev will have a final bout with the Georgian wrestler Georgy Chikhradze.

The Tskhinval wrestler Arsamag Zasseev won the semifinal bout against Iranian athlete Salar Sayed Habibiekhsani and made it to the final of the World Wrestling Championship among the cadets. The press service of the Committee on Youth Policy, Sport and Tourism of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.

They noted that unlike the first two fights with wrestlers from India and Bulgaria, the semi-final was difficult.

“Losing with a score of 5:3, Zasseev still managed to change the course of the fight. 30 seconds before the end of the fight, Arsamag transferred his opponent to the ground and was able to roll him twice. Thus, Zasseev won with a score of 8:5,” the press service said.

“The Iranian wrestler was considered one of the favorites of the championship. He is the winner of the championship of Asia. Therefore, it was assumed that the fight with him would be difficult. And so it happened,” said the coach of Arsamag Tamerlan Kochiev.

On Tuesday, Zasseev will meet with Georgian wrestler Georgy Chikhradze in the final. Final fights will begin at 18 o'clock.
