Leyla Margieva will represent Ossetia at the world festival in France

A talented South Ossetian singer, a graduate of the Vladikavkaz College of Art Leyla Margieva plans to take part in the world talent festival, which will be held in France this October, the vocalist told IA Res.

According to her, at the festival she will represent all of Ossetia.

“I’m going to France with Nodar Gutsaev for a show competition, where I will perform in two categories “Variety and Academic Vocal”. I’ll select the songs that I will perform during the competition the other day, the preparation is on an intensive basis, the rehearsals are taking place seven days a week,” she said.

Margieva shared that she always wanted to go to France, and representing Ossetia at the festival was a great responsibility and pride for her.

“I want to thank my vocal teachers and my mentor, Honored Artist of Ossetia Nodar Gutsaev, for the efforts that they have put and are putting into my training,” she concluded.

A graduate of the Tskhinvali school number 6 has been playing music since 12 years. In 2014, Leyla participated in the contest of talented youth of South Ossetia "Stalyty Ferttyvd". She didn’t go to the finals, but became seriously interested in vocals, starting to practice singing at the Children's Creativity Palace, where Marina Dzigoeva became her first singing teacher.

Student of the Vladikavkaz College of Arts named after Valery Gergiev Leyla Margieva is a laureate of various music competitions and festivals, including "Origins", "Blue Bird", "Future of the Planet", "Azure Wave" and many others.
