Former world heavyweight champion Murat Gassiev could hold his heavyweight debut on December 13th. According to reputable insider, The Athletic journalist Mike Koppinger, the Russian can appear on the undercard of the battle Daniel Jacobs - Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., reports Ossetia News.
“According to Lance Pugmeier, who spoke with Abel Sanchez, Murat Gassiev could make his heavyweight debut as part of this boxing night,” wrote Coppinger.
The debut fight of Gassiev in heavyweight was supposed to be held on July 27 in Arlington, but later the fight was canceled due to Murat’s injury.
