On Friday the heads of the ministries for emergency situations of South Ossetia and the Luhansk People's Republic, Azamat Chochiev and Yevgeny Katsavalov, signed a Cooperation Agreement in Tskhinval.

The parties noted the importance of the signed document.

Yevgeny Katsavalov said: "We went to it for several years, and today we have given legal status to the relations between our republics. It will be very fruitful work for the benefit of the two republics."

Chochiev has noted that the parties actively cooperated even before the signing of the agreement.

"We traveled to each other, exchanged experiences, and now our relations will reach a new level," the minister emphasized.

Katsavalov handed Chochiev a postage stamp as a sign of good relations between the republics.
