Murat Dzhioev, Presidential Plenipotentiary of Envoy of South Ossetia for post-conflict settlement, received the head of the representative office of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Republic Ashot Astabatsyan, the press service of the Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement reports.
“During the conversation, the issues of the ICRC’s humanitarian activities in South Ossetia were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the work to clarify the fate of the missing residents of South Ossetia. The meeting participants noted the need to continue cooperation in this sensitive humanitarian sphere in the format of the Coordination Mechanism to consider the issue of missing persons,” the press service said.
The meeting, held in the spirit of constructivism, was also attended by Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoyof South Ossetia for post-conflict settlement, participant of the Coordination Mechanism Yegor Kochiev and the staff of the ICRC office in South Ossetia Rustam Alizade and Nana Tedeeva.
