Singer from South Ossetia is participating in the international festival in France

South Ossetian vocalist, laureate of festivals and competitions Leyla Margieva on Tuesday will take part in the international talent festival, which is taking place in France. The singer herself reported this to the “Res” news agency.

Margieva has noted that she is in Paris and today her first performance will take place.

“The festival will be held during the week and representatives of 36 countries will take part in it. I will perform four compositions, including one in Ossetian sing “Iry chyzdzhyta”, and one song in French,” she shared.

The performer noted that she was accompanied by vocal teacher Nodar Gutsati.

The singer addressed the President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov and Anatoly Margiev the words of gratitude for the opportunity to take part in the festival.

Leyla Margieva has also shared that this year she plans to organize her solo concert in Tskhinval.

A graduate of the Tskhinvali school number 6 has been playing music for 12 years. In 2014, Leyla participated in the contest of talented youth of South Ossetia "Stalyty Ferttyvd". She didn’t go to the finals, but was seriously carried away by vocals, starting to practice singing at the Children's Creativity Palace, where Marina Dzigoeva became her first singing teacher.

Student of the Vladikavkaz College of Arts named after Valery Gergiev Leyla Margieva is a laureate of various music competitions and festivals, including "Origins", "Blue Bird", "Future of the Planet", "Azure Wave" and many others.
