Ventilators from the reserve of the Ministry of Health will be sent to North Ossetia, - Anatoly Bibilov

President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov and the head of North Ossetia-Alania, Vyacheslav Bitarov, during a telephone conversation discussed measures to counteract the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19, as well as the provision of health facilities with equipment, medicines and personal protective equipment.

As reported to IA "RES " by the President’s press service, the head of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania turned to the President of the Republic with a request for additional ventilation devices due to increase in the incidence of coronavirus.

On Saturday, the Rospotrebnadzor department reported that another 43 cases of coronavirus had been detected during the day, the total number of the infected was 348 people.

"In difficult times, our republics always helped each other, and such mutual support and prompt action can cope with any problem, regardless of its scale and nature," said Bitarov.

Bibilov has noted that part of the artificial lung ventilation devices from the reserve of the Ministry of Health of South Ossetia will be sent to North Ossetia.

The head of state emphasized that in "conditions when there were no cases of Covid-19 infection recorded in the south of Ossetia, and each additional ventilator could save a human life, such help is logical and expedient."

Ventilators will be sent to North Ossetia-Alania in the near future.

Vyacheslav Bitarov later wrote on Instagram that there is an increase in the incidence rate in North Ossetia, "therefore, he turned to Anatoly Ilyich with a request to help us with ventilator devices. We will receive them in the near future."
