The first group of South Ossetian citizens who arrived from Vladikavkaz on April 14 went through a 14-day quarantine; on Tuesday they will be sent home. As reported to IA "Res" by Deputy Chairman of the South Ossetian Committee for Consumer Rights Protection Anna Gagloeva, all 12 people were tested for coronavirus, and the results were negative.

The authorities of South Ossetia helped their citizens to return home from the territory of the Russian Federation. You can come to the Republic only with the South Ossetian passport and with special transport, after which you must go through quarantine.

"At present, there are 34 people in the Republican multidisciplinary center - citizens of South Ossetia who arrived from Vladikavkaz, 12 of them will be discharged today, they will undergo complete disinfection," Gagloeva said.

According to her, it is expected the arrival of the next, fourth group of citizens from North Ossetia, a place has already been allocated for them where they will be quarantined. The Consular Agency of the Foreign Ministry of South Ossetia continues to collect lists of the South Ossetian citizens who wish to return home.

Also, about 30 drivers who delivered the goods to the Republic are quarantined at the hotel "Alan".

The sanitary department noted that there were no cases of coronavirus infection in South Ossetia.

The government of South Ossetia has extended the period of restrictive measures related to counteracting coronavirus infection until April 30 inclusive, border crossing with Russia is also limited until May 1, all the checkpoints with Georgia are closed since late February.
