20 citizens from Russia will return to South Ossetia during a week

In the course of the week, 20 citizens of the Republic will return home from North Ossetia-Alania, Foreign Minister, Dmitry Medoev, said at the meeting of the headquarters for preventing the penetration of coronavirus.

“Ten people are arriving today. There are children among them. The next group will arrive on Thursday,” Medoev said.

According to the head of the Foreign Ministry, another 57 South Ossetian citizens who want to return home have applied to the Consular Agency.

At the headquarters meeting, it was noted that immediately upon arrival in South Ossetia, yje citizens would be quarantined in the Republican hospital.

According to the Health Minister Georgy Totchiev, the hospital has a reserve of over 50 beds.

The transportation of citizens of South Ossetia was organized by the authorities of the rRpublic on April 14 and will continue. The quarantine of the first group of citizens ended on Tuesday, April 28. According to the chief sanitary doctor Marina Kochieva, "they have been tested, all the tests are negative and they will be discharged today."
