“I want to thank you all again for coming to Moscow today, despite all the well-known difficult circumstances, that you took part in the celebrations dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. I have already said this is an obvious thing: for our peoples it’s a very significant, without exaggeration, very expensive event. Victory Day is celebrated in each of our states. Nothing has power, as they say in such cases, over the sincere, deep feelings of people who remember and honor heroes. And the holiday itself becomes every year even more vivid, piercing, overgrown with new traditions, it is very important, such as, for example, the processions of the Immortal Regiment, which are held on the territory of 115 states ..., said President of Russia.

Putin has expressed confidence that such unity, spiritual unity, reverence for the holiday, which was and remains one for all, is in tune with the dreams and hopes of dear veterans, everyone who brought closer the long-awaited and so dear Victory.

“Once again, I would like to say that I am sincerely glad to see all of you in Moscow. The legendary Parade of Winners, which took place 75 years ago, is our common history, as the Great Victory is shared,” said President of the Russian Federation.
