South Ossetian Foreign Minister Dmitry Medoev sent a congratulatory message to his Syrian counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Walid Al-Muallem, on the occasion of the second anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Syrian Arab Republic.
"In May 2018, a new page was opened in the history of our countries, a solid foundation of friendly and trusting relations was created, which reflect the sincere desire of our peoples to comprehensively support each other and together defend human values in the name of justice, freedom and equality," the congratulatory address reads..
Medoev is convinced that the Ossetian-Syrian relations, built on the principles of mutual friendship and trust, mutual understanding and mutual assistance, will continue to deepen and develop for the benefit of our countries and peoples.
