309 people undergo quarantine in South Ossetia; there are no new cases of coronavirus

Over the past day, no new cases of coronavirus have been detected in South Ossetia, 309 people are under observation in quarantine (307 a day earlier), Deputy Head of the South-Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee, Anna Gagloeva, told IA "Res” on Thursday.

"In the medical institutions of the Republic, as of Thursday morning, there are 211 people, in the RMMC - 107, in the isolation ward - 37, while there are no patients with a laboratory-confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19, in the Dzau hospital - 40, in the Znaur hospital - 22 people, in the old building of the maternity hospital - 5 doctors from the "red zone", - said Gagloeva.

In addition, at the hotel "Alan ", - 69 (a day earlier - 67 people), 28 builders are being quarantined in a special premises, and one ICC employee is being quarantined at the department premises.

More than 4.6 thousand tests for coronavirus have done in the Republic since May of this year.

Since May, 89 people infected with coronavirus have been detected in the Republic, they all recovered, the last one was discharged in early August, since then no new cases of coronavirus have been recorded.

Until August 31, restrictions on crossing the border with Russia have been extended, while since August 1, some easing of restrictions have been introduced for a certain category of citizens of the RSO. This category of citizens (who have had coronavirus and who have antibodies) will be in their homes, but according to the receipt given by them, under the supervision of doctors.
