10 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in South Ossetia

During the day, 64 tests on COVID-19 have been conducted in South Ossetia, 10 of them showed a positive result, the Republic's chief sanitary doctor Marina Kochieva told IA "Res" on Tuesday.

"Another 10 citizens have been confirmed with coronavirus, just 62 since the day the restrictions on the border with the Russian Federation were lifted (September 15)," she said.

According to Kochieva, over the entire period of the pandemic on the morning of October 13, 139 cases of coronavirus were registered in the Republic.

"25 people, who have been confirmed with viral pneumonia, undergo treatment in the isolation ward of the RMMC, in the" red zone ", the rest are treated on an outpatient basis," she said.

Since April of this year, 5705 tests for COVID-19 have been carried out in the laboratory of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee. The chief sanitary doctor once again appeals to the residents of the Republic to observe the mask regime, take a responsible approach to safety measures.
