25 patients were discharged from hospitals in South Ossetia, 67 people remain on treatment

In the "red zone" of the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center (RMMC) of South Ossetia, as of the morning of December 1, 67 patients are being treated.

This was reported to IA "Res" on Tuesday by chief infectious disease specialist of the Republic Eleonora Dzhioeva.

35 people are being treated at a Russian military hospital in Tskhinval.

“Currently, 26 patients are being treated in the infectious diseases building of the RMMC, and 41 in the building of the children's hospital. The condition of the patients is mainly of moderate severity. There are eight people in the intensive care unit. There are three patients on non-invasive mechanical ventilation, "the doctor said.

According to Dzhioeva, 5 patients were admitted to the RMMC per day, 25 people were discharged from the hospital with recommendations to continue treatment on an outpatient basis, the reception and triage department of the RMMC received 82 people on Monday.

"50 patients were tested in the reception and triage center; 7 people were referred to a computed tomography of the chest. There are no hospitalized ones," the chief infectious disease specialist said.

In South Ossetia, 1,064 people are under the supervision of doctors on an outpatient and inpatient basis.
