In the "red zones" of the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center (RMMC) of South Ossetia, as of the morning of January 4, 66 patients with COVID-19 are being treated. This was reported to IA "Res" by the chief infectious disease specialist of the Republic, Eleonora Dzhioeva.

“Currently, there are 34 patients in the infectious building of the RMMC, 32 in the building of the children's hospital. Three of them are in the intensive care unit,” the doctor said.

Over the past day, one patient was admitted to the "red zone" of the hospital, two patients were discharged from the hospital for follow-up care at home.

Until January 15, there is a ban on the work of secondary, secondary vocational and higher educational institutions, except for elementary schools and rural small-scale institutions, a mask regime is in effect, it is necessary to observe social distance in public places.
