“As a result of the tests carried out, 56 citizens of the Republic were diagnosed with coronavirus. During the pandemic, 13617 studies have been done in the PCR laboratory of the Ossetian Consumer Rights Protection,” Kochieva said.

It should be noted that the number of cases in the Republic since mid-September has reached 2375.

As of January 5, 65 people with COVID-19 are being treated in the "red zones" of the South Ossetian medical cluster, three of them are in the intensive care unit.

Until January 15, the ban on the work of secondary, vocational and higher educational institutions has been extended, except for primary schools and rural small-scale institutions, a mask regime is in effect, it is necessary to observe social distance in public places.
