The State Security Committee of South Ossetia informs about the transfer of the Georgian citizen Malkhaz Doluashvili to the Georgian side without penalties.

"On February 27, in the vicinity of the Grom settlement of the Tskhinval district, for violating the regime of the state border of South Ossetia, a border guard detachment detained a citizen of Georgia Doluashvili Malkhaz Vakhtangovich, born in 1960, a resident of the village of Zerti, Gori municipality.

In the course of the proceedings, it was established that Doluashvili M.B. moved to the South Ossetian territory unintentionally, having lost orientation on the terrain during the hunt.

Due to the fact that the violation of the state border of the Republic was committed unintentionally, the Border Service of the KGB of the RSO, proceeding from humanitarian considerations, as well as at the request of Georgian civil activists, it was decided to transfer Doluashvili M.V. to the Georgian side without penalties, "the message says.
