More than 30 projects of Russian scientists with colleagues from France, Hungary, South Ossetia and Vietnam in the field of the humanities and social sciences will receive grants from 700 thousand to 1.5 million rubles. within 1-3 years from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR). The results of the competitions were published on Friday on the Foundation's website.

26 applications were received for the competition of projects of fundamental scientific research, held by the RFBR and the Foundation "House of Human Sciences" in France, and five projects received support. Among them - the study of aviation projects in Russia and France in the first half of the twentieth century, state regulation of subsoil use and environmental protection in France and the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, the study of the role of scientific diplomacy, etc.

19 applications took part in the competition between the RFBR and the Foundation "For Russian Language and Culture in Hungary", nine projects became winners. Support was received for a study of the development of border regions of the two countries, a study of the prospects for alliances of innovative organizations of Hungary and Russia in the field of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, the study of Russian and Hungarian architecture, etc.

Over 20 applications were submitted for the competition between the RFBR and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of South Ossetia. The winners were 10 projects, including a project on the study of food security, a study of conflict communication, as well as the peculiarities of intercultural communication in the post-Soviet space, etc.

Seven projects out of 13 submitted applications became the winners of the RFBR and the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences competition. Among them, in particular, a study of the impact of the technological space on the quality of life of the elderly population, a project to study the consequences of climate change for the coastal territories of Vietnam and the Russian Far East, a study of the adaptation and economic behavior of Russian-speaking migrants in Southeast Asia, and a number of others.
