South Ossetian Parliamentary Committee on Industry, Construction, Transport, Communications and Natural Resources considered the Plan for the integration of the customs authorities of the Republic of South Ossetia with the customs authorities of the Russian Federation.
The press service of the Parliament has reported that during the discussion, priority directions and tasks of the development of the customs service were identified and a comparative analysis of customs legislation was carried out.
It has been noted that for many years the problem with the customs authorities of the Russian Federation, connected with the export and import of goods from the Russian Federation, as well as with the temporary import of cars registered in South Ossetia, has not been resolved.
It was also noted at the meeting that the government and parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia began joint discussion of the Plan for the integration of the customs authorities of the Republic of South Ossetia with the customs authorities of the Russian Federation.
