South Ossetia took part in the International Scientific Conference in Kabardino-Balkaria

Representatives of South Ossetia took part in the XXIV International Scientific Conference of Students, Postgraduates and Scientists "Perspective-2021". The conference was held from 23 to 26 April in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.

Among the participants is a researcher of the Economics Department of the Z.N. Vaneev South Ossetian Research Institute Vyacheslav Dzhabiev and Associate Professor of the Department of History and Caucasian Studies of the South Ossetian State University Taimuraz Tadtaev.

As noted by Vyacheslav Dzhabiev in his interview with the IA "Res» this event takes place every year, the purpose of which is to unite and establish ties of the scientific community. The conference was attended by representatives from many regions of Russia, Africa, India, Vietnam, Abkhazia, South Ossetia and other countries.

Vyacheslav Dzhabiev made a report on the topic "Legal provision of food security of the Republic of South Ossetia." The report substantiated the importance of developing and adopting a food security doctrine for South Ossetia, based on the positive results of similar doctrines in Russia, Belarus and other countries.

Taimuraz Tadtaev presented a report on the topic: "Divided nation". It considered the reasons, nature and consequences of the division of the Ossetian people, who currently live compactly in the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania.

The organizers of the conference are: Department of Scientific Research and Innovation Activities of the KBSU, the Department for Youth Policy and Educational Work of the KBSU, the Council of Young Scientists of the KBSU, the VC. Tlostanov Kabardino-Balkarian Charitable Foundation for Social Support of Students.

The conference was full of cultural events. On the last day, a trip to the Azau Glade was organized, from where those wishing could climb by cable cars close to the top of Mount Elbrus - the highest point in Europe.
