A video conference with the participation of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of South Ossetia for Post-Conflict Settlement Murat Dzhioev and the OSCE Co-Chair of the Geneva International Discussions on Security in Transcaucasia, Annika Söder, was held on Wednesday.

According to the press service of the Plenipotentiary representation, ​​the conversation was attended by Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative, head of the South Ossetian delegation in the IPRM format Yegor Kochiev and the employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Marina Ualyty.

During the constructive conversation, issues related to security and stability in the territories adjacent to the South Ossetian-Georgian state border were discussed. The importance of maintaining a stable situation was again stressed, and in this regard, the need to withdraw from the territory of South Ossetia the police post illegally set up by the Georgian side near the village of Uista (Tsnelis). The recent meeting in the IPRM format was positively assessed. Other humanitarian issues were also discussed, including the clarification of the fate of the missing residents of South Ossetia," the press service of the mission said.
