Servicemen of the Preobrazhensky regiment of the Western Military District will take part in the parade in Mexico dedicated to the Independence Day of the country, the press service of the Western Military District reported.
"The guard of honor will win the hearts of the Mexicans where a military parade dedicated to the Independence Day of Mexico will take place. It will be attended by 30 servicemen. This will be the 10th experience of participation of Russian servicemen in Mexican military parades," it was reported.
According to the press service, representatives of the Western Military District will also visit Slovenia and South Ossetia.
"Servicemen in Slovenia will take part in the ceremony of laying flowers in the memorial ceremony on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the erection of a Russian chapel near the Vršić pass in memory of Russian soldiers,perished in these places during the First World War, as well as near the monument to Russian and Soviet soldiers killed on the territory of Slovenia during the First and Second World Wars, "it was reported.
In South Ossetia, military personnel will conduct classes on the exchange of experience.
