President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov at the meeting with the co-chairs of the Geneva Discussions on Thursday spoke about the prerequisites for the formation of the Republic of South Ossetia, noting that the decision taken 31 years ago by the Council of People's Deputies of the South Ossetian Autonomous Region was the only correct one.

"There is the documented information that the three guys were definitely in the hands of the Georgian police. Let them give us at least the remains, so that we can bury them humanly, and relatives can come to their graves," the President said.

Toivo Klaar, Chihan Sultanoglu and Annika Söder, co-chairs of the Geneva discussions on security in Transcaucasia from the EU, UN and OSCE, will arrive in Tskhinval on Thursday to discuss the agenda of the upcoming round of discussions in October, the press service of the South Ossetian presidential envoy's office for post-conflict settlement told the "Res" news agency.
“The co-chairs will meet with members of the South Ossetian delegation at the Geneva Discussions and President of the Republic Anatoly Bibilov,” the press service said.
On Wednesday Presidential Plenipotentiary of South Ossetia for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev held a video conference with the OSCE co-chair at the Geneva International Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia, Annika Söder.
As reported by the press service of the plenipotentiary mission, during the conversation they discussed issues related to the preparation for the next round of Geneva discussions.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko and the head of the US delegation to the International Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia, Andrew Shofer, discussed the regional agenda at their meeting on Tuesday, including interaction in the format of the Geneva Discussions.
"An interested exchange of views took place on topical topics of the regional agenda with an emphasis on interaction in the format of the Geneva discussions," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The meeting was held at the request of the American side.

Parents of the missing citizens of South Ossetia have been waiting for information about their children every day for 13 years, but there is no news of them, said Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev.
“We raise the issue of missing citizens of South Ossetia at the meetings in the IPRM format and during the Geneva discussions. At the next round in Geneva, the OSCE representatives said that the Georgian authorities had allegedly promised to assist in clarifying this issue, ”the Plenipotentiary said.
