September 25, 2012, President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili in his speech at the 67th session of the UN accused Russia of the "attempts to influence on political processes in Georgia, in particular, by conducting the large-scale maneuvers and concentrations of troops in the border" of the allegedly occupied regions of Georgia.

A photo exhibition "Slovakia: the eyes, looking ahead", organized within the frames of cooperation between the youth wing of the People's Party of South Ossetia and the organization "Association of the Slovak Youth" has hosted today in the capital of South Ossetia. The event was attended by members of the People's Party, youth of Slovakia, representatives of the movement "New People", the People's Party of the Moldavian Republic of Transdniestria, students of the South-Ossetian State University and the invited guests. At the exhibition were presented the photos by Nicolas Te, Jonathan Gasco and other prominent Slovakian photographers.

Leonid Tibilov met in Tskhinval with the President of the Republic of Nauru

South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov met with the President of the Republic of Nauru Sprent Jared, arrived in Tskhinval to take part in the celebration of the Republic Day. Tibilov has welcomed the guests, noting that people of South Ossetia are very hospitable and any holiday without guests - is not a real holiday.
"You are the first one of the presidents of the countries that recognized our independence, who have come for today's holiday. Therefore, I want to express a special word of appreciation, and in your person to greet the fraternal people of Nauru,"- said Tibilov.

Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia with regard to
the situation on the border with Georgia

Four years after the armed aggression of Georgia against South Ossetia in August 2008 the situation in the region is still tense and is characterized by the intention of the Georgian leadership to carry out the large-scale provocations. Georgian authorities, despite the impact of August 2008, are not going to leave their revanchist sentiments.
In the territory of Georgia, which is adjacent to the border of South Ossetia and belongs to the zone of responsibility of the EU mission military observers, there is a boosting of the Georgian military presence, including armored vehicles andmultiple launch rocket systems. One can observe the newly built fortifications and almost all border settlements formed warehouses for storage of weapons. It is also observed activation of the Georgian intelligence services, transferring of the armed police posts several hundred meters closer to the border of South Ossetia, as it happened in Zardiantkari.

More than a hundred refugees can receive citizenship of South Ossetia

More than a hundred refugees, living in the country, claim to citizenship of South Ossetia.
As the head of the Committee on Migration Policy of the RSO Vladimir Ushakov said IA "Res", the Commission on Citizenship of the RSO was engaged in the questions of granting citizenship to refugees.
"It is planned to grant citizenship to the people who were forced to leave the territory of Georgia because of persecution from the early 1990's. They must submit all the required documents, and then the committee during the year will consider and decide whether to grant them citizenship or not,"- explained Ushakov.

The youth delegations of Transdniestria, Slovakia and Russia will arrive in South Ossetia on the Republic Day

On the invitation of the youth wing of the People's Party of the Republic of South Ossetia the youth delegations from the Slovak Republic, the Republic of Transdniestria and the Russian Federation will arrive in South Ossetia to participate in the celebrations of the 22th anniversary of proclamation of the Republic of South Ossetia.
As the Chairman of the youth wing of the People's Party of South Ossetia Mikhail Kochiev reported IA "Res", for the guests had been arranged an interesting and rich program with visiting the notable places, related to the struggle for independence, and interesting meetings.
