The recognition of South Ossetia by the growing number of states – is an irreversible process, and it eventually will promote relaxation of international tension in the South Caucasus as a whole. Thus, Deputy Foreign Minister of South Ossetia Alan Pliev commented on the rupture of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tuvalu and Georgia in an interview with IA "Res".

Meeting of the action group, nominating a Chairman of the Afghan Veterans Union Murat Guchmazov for president of South Ossetia has been held in Tskhinval. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Central Election Committee. The participants of the meeting unanimously voted for nomination of Guchmazov for presidential elections on March, 25.

Sobaev has added that he also touched upon the issue of the other missing citizens of the RSO - Ikaev, Kabisov, Gagloev and Tedeev.
The meeting of the Ossetian People's Front «Russia - Ossetia» of the Vladimir Putin's All-Russian People's Front - International Russia –has been held at the office of the RSO People`s Party in Tskhinval: the current state of affairs and exchange of opinions on urgent issues have been expressed in the course of the meeting.
A session of the Youth wing of the People `s Party of the RSO has been held in Tskhinval, where the results of the trip of the Party delegation led by the Chairman of the Youth wing Michail Kochiev tothe Republic of Slovakia have been discussed.Kochievhas informed the gathered about theresults of the trip, in particular, on the work for establishing friendly relations with the Slovak youth.«Our visit to Slovakia began on September, 18 and was based on the invitation of the progressive Slovak youth organization - Association of the Slovak youth. The delegation of the People`s Party of the Republic of South Ossetia headed by the Chairman of the youth wing of the RSO People`s Party, the Chairman of the youth government of the RSO Michail Kochiev,being on a visit in the Republic of Slovakia, has carried out the fruitful work.
