The delegation of the Peoples Party of the Republic of South Ossetia has arrived in the capital of the Republic of Slovakia -Bratislava. It has been informed the news agency "Рes" by the Chairman of the RSO People`s Party Kazimir Pliev. The delegation consists of the Vice-President of the RSO People`s Party Dmitry Ivako and the Chairman of the Youth Association of the RSO People`s Party Michail Kochiev.
The Republic of South Ossetia was visited by delegation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. A number of meetings with representatives of the authorities, scientists of the Republic of South Ossetia and representatives of the Cossacks have taken place. The delegation has included - the deputy of the Feodosijsky region Yury Pershikov, the deputy of the Bakhchisarai regional council Sergey Jurchenko, the adviser of the Commission for Culture of the Supreme body of Crimea Oleg Rodivilov, the deputy of the Inkermonsky City Council Victor Babushkin, the deputy of the Zujsky settlement council Victor Sidenko and the journalist enlighten the combat operations in South Ossetia in 1992 Vadim Telichev.
Today the next meeting within the frames of the mechanisms on prevention and reaction to incidents on the border has taken place in the Georgian village Dvani, which is located next to frontier of South Ossetia. As reported by the Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on post conflict settlement Merab Chigoev to the news agency "Res", representatives of Russia, South Ossetia, Georgia, the EU Mission of Observers in Georgia and the OSCE have taken part in the meeting.
On September, 2nd the next meeting of representatives of the South-Ossetian and the Georgian parties within the frames of Mechanisms on Prevention and Reaction to Incidents will take place in the Georgian village Dvani. It has been informed the news agency "Resi" by the Deputy Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on post conflict settlement Merab Chigoev.
Questions of strengthening and development of friendly relations between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of Belarus and the prospects of mutually advantageous economic cooperation were discussed in Tskhinval during the meeting of the People`s Party management of the Republic of South Ossetia with delegation of the Liberal-Democratic Party management of the Republic of Belarus, led by a member of the Supreme Council of the LDP, the Vice-President of the LDP, the Chairman of the Minsk LDP city organization Alexey Demeshko.
Representatives of the International Ossetian Societies Association "Renaissance" have taken part in the work of 79 session of the United Nations Committee on liquidation of racial discrimination which passed in Geneva (Switzerland) from August, 15 till August, 17. Reports of the following states-participants have been considered at the session: Albania, Czech Republic, Georgia, Kenya, Republic of Maldives, Malta, Paraguay, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. The Session work sticks to the following scheme. The states – member of the United Nations -represent their reports on a considered problematic. And the public organizations, in turn, represent alternative reports that the Committee-men would have received more objective information.
Today in the hero city Tskhinval the solemn ceremony of the Military oath rite by recruits of the Armed forces of the Republic of South Ossetia has taken place at the Eternal Flame on the Heroes Avenue. Several tens of young fighters of the spring conscription 2011 have sworn under the leadership of the RSO Minister of Defence, Major General Valery Jakhnovets. At 17 o'clock, the divisions of the Tskhinvalskiy garrison were drawn up in the dismounted formation in field uniform with automatic machines in hands. The Minister of Defence has reported to the Supreme Commander in Chief, President of the RSO Eduard Kokoity, that the staff is ready for holding the solemn oath rite of the young generation.
Military maneuvers of the IV-th infantry brigade of the Georgian land forces with participation of the USA marines are being conducted at the military base of the Georgian army near Tbilisi. The maneuvers have the code name «Agile Spirit». They are presented as the "planned" and represent the program of the USA naval corps which prepares the Georgian military men for peace-making mission ISAF in Afghanistan where Georgia intends to increase essentially its military presence. It should be underlined that these maneuvers have started at once after the maneuvers in Sachkhere which started on July, 18. It is obvious that Georgia is being militarized rapidly. And the militarization speed of Georgia exceeds that one before the August military aggression against the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia.
The next revelation of WikiLeaks has occasioned us much thought. It has been declared by the South-Ossetian expert Inal Pliev, making comments on the confidential dispatch which appeared on the Wiki Leaks site of the USA embassy in Tbilisi on September, 25, 2009. Its author, the Charge d'Affaires in the USA Kent Logsdon, has reported on their government about the meeting of Michail Saakashvili with the Deputy Assistant of the US State Secretary over Europe and Eurasia Tina Kaidanov. “It `s obvious, - Pliev considers, - that the USA leadership is not firm in supporting any actions of the Georgian leader.
Ukraine – is not the country, which recognition is vital for South Ossetia, -the expert Inal Pliev has declared the news agency "Res", making comments on the statement of the director of the informational policy department of the Ukraine Foreign Ministry Oleg Voloshin that «Ukraine will not recognize the independence of the self-proclaimed Abkhazia and South Ossetia».
