The final meeting of the participants of the World Youth Festival with the government officials was held in the conference hall of the South Ossetian State University.

The youth received parting words from Minister of Foreign Affairs Akhsar Dzhioev, rector of the South Ossetian State University Vadim Tedeev, Deputy Head of the Presidential Executive Office Alan Tibilov, as well as other officials.

South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev awarded Defender of the Fatherland medals to the fighters of the “Alania ” volunteer battalion Ragim Kokoev and Alexey Tigiev, the press service of the head of state reported on Thursday.

The awards were given to the fighters for their courage and bravery shown during the special military operation.
During the meeting, the President wished the fighters good luck, strength and health.
