In the second half of the day on September, 11th, 2007 at the checking point of the Peacemaking Forces from the Peacemaking Forces of the Russian Federation «Megvrekisi», on checking the documents and examining the car of the citizens of Georgia V.J.Midodashvili and G.N.Khamidashvili, physical resistance had been showed by them to the peacemakers, carrying out the check, as a result of which one of the military men has received physical injuries.
These citizens have been detained by the staff of the peace-making post and delivered to the commandant"s office of the Joint Staff of JPKF for further trial, which is usually held by tripartite observers and the representatives of the Mission of OSCE. After carrying out of the investigation they will be transferred to the georgian side.
The Command of JPKF considers the given actions from the half of the citizens of Georgia as a provocation against the Peace-making forces.
