At least 20 delegations of foreign countries will arrive in South Ossetia to participate in the events dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the recognition of the independence of the Republic by the Russian Federation.
As reported to the "Res" news agency by the press service of the President of the RSO, the delegations will be represented at the level of heads of state, government, parliament, heads of departments.
Russia will be represented at the jubilee celebrations by such high-ranking guests as the Minister for North Caucasus Affairs Sergei Chebotarev, Presidential Aide Vladislav Surkov, Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Ilyas Umakhanov, as well as representatives of the State Duma led by First Deputy head of the Defense Committee Andrei Krasov.
The Russian delegation has also included senators and Duma members, well-known Ossetian figures Arsen Fadzayev, Valery Gazzaev and Kazbek Taisaev.
A large North Ossetian delegation will be led by the head of North Ossetia-Alania, Vyacheslav Bitarov.
Delegations from friendly LPR and DPR are also represented by the first persons - the head of the Donetsk People's Republic Alexander Zakharchenko and the acting head of the Luhansk People's Republic Leonid Pasechnik.
Fraternal Abkhazia delegated to Tskhinval to participate in the celebrations Secretary of the Security Council Mohamed Kilba, Minister of Education Adgur Kakoba and the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Lev Kvitsinia
In addition, for the first time, a delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic headed by Syrian Ambassador to Russia Riad Haddad will pay a visit to South Ossetia.
Representatives of Nauru can also take part in the celebrations in Tskhinvali.
Italy at the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the recognition of the RSO will be represented by the mayor of Gradara, Phillippo Gasperi, and the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia on the Apennine peninsula Mauro Murga.
Among the Italian guests is professor of anthropology, an expert on the Caucasus, journalist of the League of the North Party Eliseo Bertolazi.
Among the delegations are also representatives of Belarus, Nagorno-Karabakh, the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The regions of Russia will be represented by delegations of Chechnya, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Ingushetia, the Crimea and the Vladimir region.
