In the isolation ward of the Republican Multidisciplinary Center in Tskhinval on the morning of June 29, 9 patients are being treated (14 a day earlier) - 8 cadets and a nurse with a laboratory-confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19, Anna Gagloeva, Deputy Head of the South-Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee, told IA "Res".

"The day before, 10 tests were conducted, all of them negative, another 5 people were discharged from the hospital, their tests are also negative. Currently, 101 people are under observation in quarantine in South Ossetia, 83 of them are in medical institutions of the Republic," she said.

In total, there were 85 cases for the entire period, of which 76 people were discharged from the medical institution.

The first three cases of infection in the Republic were recorded on May 5.
