Russian experts arrived in South Ossetia at the invitation of the government of the Republic in order to discuss issues of restoring the mining industry.
As noted at the press conference at Sputnik - South Ossetia, by General Director of Almazinteh LLC Valery Kondratyev, the delegation met with the Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhussoev and representatives of relevant structures to discuss the tasks outlined by the head of state Alan Gagloev.
"The President set tasks for the government to restore the mining industry in South Ossetia.. Preliminary meetings and negotiations in Moscow led to the visit of our delegation to the Republic. Our goal is to discuss approaches to the creation of a roadmap to implement the task of restoring and developing the Mining industry of South Ossetia", - said Kondratyev.
He has noted that the delegation visited the Kwaisa lead-zinc deposit with a group of experts in order to correctly navigate the priorities set by the leadership of the Republic.
“The priority task for today is the development of a program to restore the Kwaisa mining and processing plant, after which one can think about the preparation of other projects related to the rich natural resources of South Ossetia and include them in the development program,” Kondratyev has emphasized.
“Almazinteh” has been implementing mining projects in Russia and foreign countries for more than 20 years, collaborating with the North Caucasus Mining and Metallurgical University, leading mining enterprises and service companies in the mining industry of the Russian Federation.
The delegation that arrived in the Republic has also included: Rector of SKGMI Igor Alekseev, President of Rusolovo PJSC Evgeny Kolesov, Deputy General Director of Almazinteh LLC Sergey Bezoborodov.
