The Supreme Court of South Ossetia has made a decision to postpone consideration of the appeal of the initiative group, nominating the head coach of the Russian national team on free-style wrestling Dzhambolat Tedeev against the decision of the Central Election Committee of South Ossetia till October, 11. As the press-service of the Supreme Court of South Ossetia has informed IA RES «on October, 7 the Supreme Court of the RSO has made a decision to abandon the application of Dzhambolat Tedeev, as the norms of the remedial legislation have been violated at its drawing up. The representatives of the initiative group of Tedeev may correct the infringements till October, 11».

In the evening, of October, 9 the Central Election Committee of South Ossetia has finished acceptance of subscription lists from the registered initiative groups, nominating the candidates for forthcoming presidential elections in the Republic on November, 13. As IA RES has been informed at the Central Election Committee, all the registered initiative groups submitted the necessary quantity of signatures to the Central Election Committee according to the current legislation.

TheParliament of the Republic of South Ossetia has passed a vote of no confidence in the Speaker of the legislature body Stanislav Kochiev. As informed by the correspondent of the news agency "RES", the vote of no confidence has been carried by 19 votes to 4 out of the 23 deputies, participating in the session of the Parliament.The session has been held in private.

About the 17th meeting within the frames of the international discussions on safety and stability in Transcaucasia

The 17th round of the discussions has come to the end in Geneva. As informed by the Plenipotentiary of the President of South Ossetia on questions of the post conflict settlement Boris Chochiev over the phone from Geneva, the situation in the regions have been discussed during the first part of the discussions.«We have declared that the Georgian party regularly violates the air space of our country.

Today the Central Election Committee of the RSO has registered Alan Kotaev (the First Deputy of the Head of the Administration of Tskhinval) and Anatoly Bibilov (the Minister for Emergency Situations of the RSO) as the presidential candidates. It has been informed the IA RES at the Central Election Committee of the RSO.

The South Ossetian sportsmen have gone to Anapa for contesting in the Ninth Sports and Games of people of the Southern Federal District and the North Caucasian Federal District which will be held with participation of teams of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. It has been informed IA RES by the Deputy Chief of Department on physical training and sports of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth Policy of the RSO Vladimir Tedeev.

The 17th round of the international discussions on safety in Transcaucasia is being conducted in Geneva.As the head of the delegation- the Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSOon questions of the postconflict settlement Boris Chochiev has phoned from Geneva, bilateral meetings with the co-chairmen were held there.«The South Ossetian party has declared again that it will not participate in the second group where the socio - humanitarian issues and the question of refugees are discussed», - Chochiev has told.According to the Plenipotentiary, the Abkhazian party has supported this position.

The Central Election Committee of the RSO has registered Dmitry Tasoev (the leader of the Social-Democratic party liquidated in March, 2011 at the suit of the Ministry of Justice of the RSO)and Ajvar Bestaev(the branch manager of the Republican hospital of Tskhinval). AsIA REShas been informed at the Central Election Committee of the RSO,the registration certificates were also issued to the initiative groups supporting Eduard Gabaraev (artillery commander of the Ministry of Defence of the RSO), Inal Bazzaev (the deputy of the Parliament of the RSO) and Igor Alborov (the Deputy Minister of Defence of the RSO).
